The Vendor Insta Pay program is a viable payment alternative for all government agencies.  It is easy to implement and will not effect bond ratings.  The VIP program does not lend money, will not interfere with existing banking covenants, and is unsecured.

Since the Vendor Insta Pay program take an assignment on existing accounts payable invoices, the balance sheet remains unchanged.

How does the VIP program works.   It’s  really quite simple, once implemented we offer government vendors a quick payment option.   In the current economic environment of shrinking revenue numbers and budget cutback, we found most government agencies do not take advantage of quick payment discounts.  Even though many Vendors offer a prompt payment discount, unfortunately they are going unused.

Compound this problem, the fact is banks are not lending to small and mid-sized businesses and as a result many companies are challenged by restricted cash flow.

Government agencies implementing the Vendor Insta Pay program can offer a win-win situation for their vendors.  In short, Vendors electing to opt-in to be paid immediately upon acceptance of invoice get “improved cash flow, and the government agencies get the needed extended terms to process invoices.
