What is the Vendor Insta Pay Program?

VIP is an Accounts Payable Funding Program allowing  your participating vendors to take advantage of prompt payment discounts using our money.

We pay your vendors immediately, less the prompt payment discount, at no cost to you.

Your company will then reimburse us in the agreed upon terms for those vendors taking  advantage of the Vendor Instapay program.

In short, the vendors choosing to “opt-in” get what they want – “Instant Cash Flow”, and you maintain or maybe improve payment terms with the use of free working capital.

Why would our company want to implement the Vendor Insta Pay Program?

Profitablity:  Improve your internal cash on cash return and increased access to working capital.

Insure a strong vendor base with improved cash flow to support your business at no cost to  you.  In many cases companies offering the VIP program will receive better lead times and service due to this quick payment option.

It is easy to implement with no application and/or diligence fee. Most clients are set up in less than two weeks.

The VIP program will not file liens or your assets and is unsecured.

The VIP program will not change your bond ratings since we do not lend your company money.  We take assignment of specific accounts payable, therefore we do not change your balance sheet.

Saves your accounting staff hours on the phone updating vendors on when checks are scheduled for payment.

There are no long term commitments and/or contracts.

Do my Vendors have to use the VIP program?

No, the Vendor Insta Pay program is an “opt-in” quick payment alternative for your vendors.   It is your Vendors’ choice to “opt-in” to this program, however they are not required to.

On another note, you may not want to offer this program to all your Vendors.  It is your choice, “You are in complete control.”

How will this effect my Accounts Payable Department?

Your Accounts Payable department will see little to no change in how they process invoices with this one exception: vendors electing to “opt-in” will receive a payment code indicating vendor invoices were paid by the VIP program.   This code will be forwarded (linked) to your accounts payable, insuring future payments for specific invoices will be mailed to our remit-to address when due, since we paid your vendors’ invoices upon receipt of goods and/or services.

Our research shows the Vendor Insta Pay program saves our clients’ accounting departments time.  There are notably less telephone conversations with vendors, and accounting disputes (credits) are greatly reduced.

The VIP program will not impact or interfere with your existing accounts payable department.  We do not take on any of the day to day duties and/or will not replace existing personnel.  However, as mentioned above, your staff will be more efficient.

We will need you to complete a one page application

Your most recent financial statement, accounts payable aging, and complete vendor list.

Are there any minimums or maximums?

Companies must have a minimum of $ 250,000.00 in ongoing Accounts Payable.

The maximum limit per account is currently $ 75,000,000.00.
